In order to ensure the smooth functioning of the league, HSL resquests that managers do the following prior to each season:
- Contact the appropriate league commissioner so s/he can have your team added to the registration form.
- Register as both a player AND a volunteer
- Attend the mandatory pre-season managers meeting.
- Read, print, and sign the Manager Expectations form. You may simply return this form at the managers meeting, to your league commissioner at the first game, or you may mail the form (HSL, P.O. Box 977, Eureka, CA 95502) or give it to your commissioner by the day of the first game.
- Gather your players and get them to register ASAP. Players needing a team who register on time will have priority over players registering late. Late registering players--even returning players--cannot be guaranteed a roster spot.
- Make sure your team has matching jerseys with numbers.
